The governor’s press service announced a meeting in the regional administration, at which it was discussed how to live and work in the Kostroma region in the conditions of the already, it seems, the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic.

Unlike in spring 2020, now we are not talking about the resumption of strictly quarantine and the shutdown of enterprises – the emphasis in the face of a new increase in the incidence of COVID will be placed on prevention: “I appeal to the heads of enterprises and organizations – it is necessary to maximize issues related to prevention. It is necessary to carry out even more stringent entrance control, polls on “contact” workers. At the same time, I immediately give an introduction – there can be no question of closing enterprises and institutions, ”Governor Sergei Sitnikov said at the meeting.

The head of the region appealed to the parents of schoolchildren and children attending preschool institutions with an appeal to comply with all sanitary regulations as strictly as possible, including with signs of colds, which may not be a common cold at all.

Another task, according to the governor, is. in order to prevent a “congestion” in the health care system due to a sharp increase in the number of cases. In this regard, a task was formulated for the regional department of health – to consider the issue of attracting paramedics to work in polyclinics.
