On Saturday, a test launch of a coronavirus vaccination center was held in the halls of the Ulm Exhibition Center. In the future, they will be vaccinated against the virus here.

The trial run of the Corona Vaccination Center was attended by the Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg Winfried Kretschmann, Minister of Social Affairs Manfred Lucha and Minister of the Interior Thomas Strobl. The trial operation of the center is currently checking whether the process is proceeding as planned and where it may need to be improved. About 100 people were tested on the territory of the exhibition. In the future, in Ulm, it will be possible to vaccinate up to 120 people per hour in real conditions.

Risk groups take priority in vaccination

According to the plan of the Ministry of Health, risk groups and medical workers, as well as police officers, firefighters, teachers and educators, must first be vaccinated. The vaccination centers in Baden-Württemberg are expected to serve up to 1,500 people a day. In Ulm alone, it will be possible to vaccinate more than 126,000 people in three months. The state plans to create by December 15, two main vaccination centers in four administrative districts – Freiburg, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe and Tübingen. In the second stage, it will be necessary to create one or two district vaccination centers in each city and district.
