Employees of sports schools are vaccinated in Adygea. This was announced on Monday, May 3, by the Russia 24 TV channel.

“We work with athletes with disabilities, so it is very important that people do not get sick, as the disease can worsen their condition and become very protracted,” said Tatyana Bugranova, head of the physical culture and sports center for adaptation of disabled people.

It is clarified that on Monday more than 20 people came for the vaccination in an organized manner. The action was organized by the sports committee of the republic and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

First, those wishing to be vaccinated were tested for antibodies, while the study showed their presence in three of them. In this regard, vaccination against COVID-19 is being postponed for them.

The second component of the vaccine will be administered to patients after 20 days.

Earlier on the same day, it was reported that residents of Yekaterinburg will be able to get vaccinated against coronavirus in a greater number of shopping centers during the May holidays.

On April 27, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that collective immunity to coronavirus in Russia could be formed in September. However, Golikova noted that everything will depend on the intensity of vaccination against COVID-19.

Large-scale vaccination against COVID-19 has been taking place in Russia since January 18. The vaccination is given free of charge to everyone. At the moment, three vaccines against coronavirus have been registered in the country: Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona and KoviVac.
