In the Khabarovsk Territory, on behalf of the Acting Governor Mikhail Degtyarev, suburban bus routes will be regulated. A working meeting on this issue was held at the bus station of the regional center on April 27.
According to IA AmurMedia with reference to the press service of the governor and the government, the reason for the discussion was numerous complaints from residents in social networks. At the same time, Oleg Strokin, director of OOO PATP Dalavto, said that he had not heard of any problems, and the schedule and the number of transport had been agreed upon.
“If people say that every day they are faced with overcrowding of buses, with the fact that the timetable is not kept, then you are simply inattentive to people,” the acting governor said and instructed to adjust the timetable.
The heads of transport companies, for their part, spoke about the need to revise the subsidy rates for 1 km. On permanent routes it is about 1 ruble, on seasonal (suburban) routes – 33 rubles. The regional ministry of transport is now preparing a roadmap that will define new instruments for regulating inter-municipal transport and will help relieve social tension in this matter.
The heads of Khabarovsk and the Khabarovsk region were instructed to prepare proposals for optimizing routes – reducing duplicate routes and introducing new ones. In addition, the Ministry of Transport is considering the possibility of supporting entrepreneurs in updating the vehicle fleet.
The Acting Governor paid special attention to the bus station, erected in 1982. Now the building does not meet the requirements for passenger comfort. The owners plan to modernize the platform in 2022.
