The spouses from Kamensk-Shakhtinsky are accused of non-fulfillment of parental duties, torture and deliberate infliction of moderate harm to the health of their two children, the prosecutor’s office of the Rostov region reported on October 20. The criminal case was sent to the court for consideration.
The husband and wife beat and starved their two daughters (one year and three years old) for ten months. One of the babies developed second-degree malnutrition (ed. – underweight). This affected her general health.
On the submission of the supervisory agency, the Commission for Minors and the Protection of Their Rights of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky initiated a procedure for depriving the accused of parental rights. The guardianship and custody officer received a reprimand.
