The Committee for the Development of Transport Infrastructure has announced the timing of the opening of new metro stations in St. Petersburg. The information appeared on September 19 on the page of the governor of the city Alexander Beglov in the social network “VKontakte”.

The Putilovskaya and Yugo-Zapadnaya stations of the Krasnoselsko-Kalininskaya line under construction will be commissioned in 2023. “Karetnaya”, “Borovaya”, “Zastavskaya” and “Bronevaya”, which are a continuation of the “brown” line, are planned to open after 2026.

Earlier it was reported that Metrostroy is beginning to prepare for the second section of the tunnel from the Spasskaya station to the Teatralnaya station. It is assumed that the Petrovna tunneling complex will cope with the task in a few months. Installation work is underway.
