Since the beginning of 2121, more than 400 representatives of small businesses who rent premises with an area of up to 300 “squares” or are engaged in socially significant activities have received a favorable rental rate for urban real estate. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov. Thanks to the preferential rental program, entrepreneurs will save 810 million rubles.
“The measure can be used by 965 individual entrepreneurs and organizations who rented premises from the city last year at a minimum or preferential rate – 4.75 thousand rubles and 3.5 thousand rubles per square meter per year, respectively,” said Efimov.
The program is designed for small businesses that previously received the right to lease without bidding, explained the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Department of City Property Maxim Gaman.
The preferential rate is provided to companies operating in the field of health care, veterinary medicine and education, trade in food products, social nutrition, consumer services, physical culture and sports, culture, and production. The rate is also provided for those who employ people with disabilities. Their number should be at least 50% of the total number of employees, and their share in the wages fund should be at least 25%.
It is easy to get a favorable rental rate: the applicant must be included in the register of small and medium-sized businesses, published on the FTS website, and have no debts.
