The Ministry of Education recommends that Russian schools suspend work between the May holidays. This was stated by the head of the ministry Sergei Kravtsov.
This decision was made after these days were declared non-working in the country, the recommendation applies to institutions of additional education. Duty groups will be organized in kindergartens from 4 to 7 May.
– We recommend schools not to work, only kindergartens, duty groups will continue to accept pupils as needed, – TASS quotes Kravtsova. – This will not affect the quality of the educational process, because now, according to the program, the material learned is being repeated.
Thus, schoolchildren of the Volgograd region will go on vacation from next Monday until May 10. As a reminder, on April 23, the President declared May 4-7 to be non-working days. Meanwhile, officials in the region will continue to work, the governor signed a decree on the working hours of civil servants during the May holidays.
