Fraudsters stole about half a million rubles from a pensioner from Pskov. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the Russian MIA Administration for the Pskov region.

According to the investigation, during March 25 and 26, the 63-year-old man received calls from unknown citizens who introduced themselves as employees of the technical department of the bank. They convinced that someone wanted to withdraw the money in the pensioner’s bank account. To prevent this from happening, you need to transfer them to another account.

The trusting Pskov followed the scammers’ advice and transferred a total of one million rubles 135 thousand rubles through an ATM.

When the man was convinced that he had become a victim of dishonest persons, he turned to the police for help. A criminal case was initiated on this fact.
