The Sakhalin governor has ordered that vaccination points work during all May holidays. It is necessary to vaccinate as many islanders as possible before the holiday season, the head of the region believes.
“Every day, on average, 1,000 Sakhalin and Kuril residents are vaccinated. But the pace of vaccination cannot be slowed down! This is necessary for people to have a quiet rest this summer and go on vacation. We need to take care of vaccination in advance so that immunity can develop, ”Valeriy Limarenko explained.
Vaccination points in the island capital are available in all medical institutions. In addition, they work in shopping centers – Stolitsa, Megaberezka, as well as in Victory Square and in the city park. In other districts, there are vaccination points in the main squares – a total of 96 in the region.
