In Komsomolsk-on-Amur, the acrobat competition has ended. In the championship of the Far Eastern Federal District, the Sakhalin athletes performed very well – they brought home 10 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze medals.
According to the regional Ministry of Sports, a total of 300 athletes from five Far Eastern regions participated in the competition: Primorye, Khabarovsk Territory, Buryatia, Sakhalin and Magadan regions. Sakhalin was represented by athletes from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Korsakov and the village of Ozerskoye. They performed trampoline, tumbling and double mini-trampoline.
Earlier “MK on Sakhalin” said that the Sakhalin Paralympic skiers brought four medals from the World Cup in Austria. They competed in slalom and giant slalom competitions. In total, the team from Russia has earned seven medals at these prestigious competitions.
