Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved a decree according to which Russians will be able to receive coronavirus test results in their personal account on the public services portal. This was announced on Tuesday, March 30, at the press service of the government.

This decision was made following the results of a pilot project for processing test data, which started last fall.

The new mechanism is expected to help save time when receiving test results, reduce the number of fake certificates, and also relieve Russians of the need to send results to Rospotrebnadzor on their own after returning from abroad.

The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers explained that the information in the personal account will be received after the organizations conducting the testing through secure channels transfer it to a special reference center of Rospotrebnadzor.

At the same time, on mobile devices, the information will be displayed in the form of a QR code, which will make their reading more convenient. It will also be possible to upload data on the passage of vaccinations against coronavirus on the portal, writes Gazeta.ru.

On March 2, it was reported that the corresponding draft resolution had been prepared by the RF Ministry of Finance.

Then it was noted that the department will provide the ability to store the data received from Rospotrebnadzor in the personal account of the portal user and in the mobile application. A citizen will also be able to check the information for authenticity on his smartphone using a QR code.

On January 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to work out the possibility of notifying citizens of the results of coronavirus tests through State Services. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov were appointed responsible for the execution of the order.

Earlier, on February 1, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that a specialized registration form for COVID-19 vaccination was launched on the State Services portal. She has helped regions fine-tune local health system interactions where the portal functions operate.
