The draft law of the Astrakhan Regional Duma proposes to supplement the law “On advertising” with norms prohibiting its distribution using equipment mounted on walls, roofs and other elements of buildings or outside them.
According to the authors of the document, the lack of regulation of the distribution of sound advertising leads to abuse. It becomes intrusive and negatively affects the working conditions and leisure of citizens.
As Izvestia found out, the RF government supported the initiative, but with reservations.
“The bill requires revision in terms of determining the types of buildings, structures and structures, on the structural elements of which it is proposed to prohibit the placement of sound equipment, and (or) the distance to residential buildings, which would eliminate the negative impact of continuous playback of advertising”, – said in the official response of the Cabinet , which is at the disposal of Izvestia.
The government also clarified that it is necessary to exclude the words “or outside of them” from the bill – such a ban will lead to the impossibility of using sound advertising using portable devices, which seems excessive.
