In the Kaluga Region, the investigation of a criminal case on the fact of attempted fraud on an especially large scale has been completed (part 3 of article 30 and part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). These facts were revealed with the assistance of FSB officers. We are talking about fraud during the repair of roads in Kaluga, reports on Wednesday, January 20, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region.
There are three local company officials as defendants. According to the investigation, the company entered into a construction contract. It was supposed to repair roads on the territory of one of the Kaluga enterprises.
However, as the construction and technical expertise showed, the layer of the laid asphalt turned out to be thinner than provided for in the design and estimate documentation. As a result, the enterprise suffered more than 750 thousand rubles of damage.
The investigation believes that the laying of asphalt concrete was carried out in a similar way on another section of the road. Additional damage exceeded 4.6 million rubles.
