On September 11, the Jewish Autonomous Region will join the All-Russian competition “People’s Precinct – 2020”. Locals themselves will choose the best police officer. The candidate who won the regional competition will represent the EAO at the all-Russian competition.
According to IA EAOMedia, this action has already become traditional. Its goal is to increase public confidence in police officers, the prestige of the service and the formation of a positive opinion about the activities of district police officers.
The competition is held in three stages. The first will run from 11 to 20 September. The winner of each stage is chosen by voting. Information about the contestants will be published on the website of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs. Any Internet user can choose the employee who, in his opinion, most fully meets the rank of district police officer.
Police officers who do not have disciplinary sanctions can fight for victory, and their length of service as a precinct officer must be at least three years.
The second stage is scheduled for the period from 7 to 16 October. The third stage will take place on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It will be held on the eve of the day of the district police officer in November 2020.
