The interim governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozzhaev, won the elections for the head of the region. This was announced on September 14 by the chairman of the city election commission Sergei Danilenko.
“Mikhail Vladimirovich Razvozhaev gained <...> 85.72%,” he said.
In addition to Razvozzhaev, a member of the presidium of the central council of the A Just Russia party Alexander Romanovich, a representative of the Patriots of Russia party Ivan Ermakov, a deputy of the city legislature from the Liberal Democratic Party Ilya Zhuravlev, Anastasia Romanenko (Democratic Party of Russia) and Yaroslav Yakovenko (Party of Progress ).
The day before, a single voting day ended in Russia, polling stations in the Kaliningrad region, where local elections were held, were the last to be closed at 21:00 Moscow time. This year, the single day of voting was preceded by two days of early voting to avoid crowding of citizens at the polling stations.
Elections at various levels this year were held in 83 regions, with the exception of Kabardino-Balkaria and St. Petersburg.
