Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the unification process that has been launched will allow the Fair Russia party to adequately present its goals and objectives at the upcoming elections to the State Duma. The President’s address to the Spravooros congress on Monday, February 22, was read by the party leader Sergei Mironov.
“I would especially note your striving for a broad consolidation of patriotic socially oriented parties and public organizations in order to effectively address the key tasks of Russia’s development. I am sure that the unification process that has begun will allow you to work with even greater energy for the good of the fatherland, to prove yourself worthily in the upcoming elections, ”the head of state said in the message.
According to him, “Fair Russia” is one of the most authoritative political forces in the country. Putin noted that over the past years, the party has accumulated significant experience in participating in election campaigns, and also won support from a large share of the country’s population.
“The party’s legislative initiatives aimed at protecting the interests of people, improving the quality of their life, strengthening the institution of the family and educating young people,” the president noted.
Earlier, on January 28, 46% of the survey participants of the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) allowed the opportunity to vote for the party, which is created as a result of the unification of A Just Russia, For Truth and Patriots of Russia.
The fact that the leaders of the parties “Fair Russia”, “For Truth” and “Patriots of Russia” signed a manifesto on the unification of the three political forces became known on the same day.
As the leader of “Fair Russia” Sergei Mironov noted, “a long, but absolutely positive process of uniting all left-wing patriotic forces of Russia” begins.
Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, on January 12, pointed to the importance of ensuring transparency and legality of the upcoming State Duma elections. Krasnov stressed that one of the main tasks is to comply with the electoral legislation during the campaign for the election of deputies of the State Duma.
At the beginning of December 2020, it became known that the representation of leaders of the volunteer movement in the political life of Russia would grow, and a number of candidates could be nominated for elections to the State Duma, which will be held on a single voting day on September 19, 2021.
