The Governor’s project has been implemented since 2019 as part of the state program aimed at developing health care in the Vologda Oblast.
When they are discharged from the hospital, mothers are given gifts in which the most necessary things for the first days of the baby: a blanket, diapers, a towel, hygiene products, a bottle, a rattle and even a photo album in order to preserve unique happy moments. When two or three children are born, a gift is given for each.
We add that 10 698 kits for newborns were issued last year. This year, 27.8 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for the formation of gift sets. At the moment, contracts for their supply have already been concluded.
