The investigation began after investigators from the Customs Department opened a package that had arrived from Holland. Its contents in the declaration were designated as equipment and materials for aquariums – sand, decorative elements, details, etc. “Sand” seemed suspicious to the inspector – he was sent for analysis. The suspicions turned out to be well-founded – 3 kg of MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine), a substance called the “party drug”, was disguised under the sand.
The police officers who arrived at the customs have marked the parcel and monitored its progress. Soon, a young, but very fashionable in Tel Aviv hairdresser came for the “equipment for aquariums”, who until now has not been registered any wrongdoing. Having received the box, he went to the hairdressing salon, where the operatives came after him.
Now the barber, apparently, will have to deal with the haircuts of prisoners and SHABAS employees for some time.
