Producer Iosif Prigozhin spoke on the air of the NSN about the decision of conductor Vladimir Spivakov to abandon the Francis Skaryna Order awarded to him by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
“The order was awarded for the humanism of Spivakov, for his achievements,” said the producer. According to him, the conductor is the owner of this award by right, as a person who acts as a “cultural bridge” between our countries and peoples.
Prigogine clarified that Spivakov’s decision causes him a misunderstanding, since in such a case it is possible to refuse orders of other countries, where “non-standard situations” also occur.
However, Prigozhin expressed solidarity with the Belarusian people.
Protests in Belarus are being held for the fourth day. Residents of the republic took to the streets after the publication of the official results of the presidential election, which was won by the incumbent head of state Alexander Lukashenko, who received over 80% of the vote.
