The police detained political scientist Valery Solovy at an uncoordinated rally organized by him in the center of Moscow. This was reported on Saturday, September 19, by the REN TV channel.

On the video during the detention of Nightingale, it can be seen that the audience had already begun to disperse along Tverskoy Boulevard, and the political scientist headed towards the metro. Law enforcement officers managed to detain him near the entrance to the subway.

According to a TASS correspondent, from 200 to 300 people took part in the rally.

Valery Solovey is a political scientist, former head of the department of public relations at MGIMO, an opposition activist. In June 2019, Nightingale announced that he left MGIMO for political reasons and said that he would be grateful if henceforth they would not associate him with the institute, writes Gazeta.ru.
