Former State Duma deputy, blogger and political scientist Alexander Fedulov in the latest issue of the author’s project “FEDULOV BOMBIT” explained why the population voted for candidates from the Rodina party in the elections to the Tambov City Duma.
According to official information, in 17 out of 18 constituencies, the single-mandate candidates – the nominees of Motherland – won.
According to the political scientist, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Liberal Democratic Party in Tambov, as well as in these elections and in the Kursk region, fought “contractual matches” with the United Russia party and with the authorities, and ultimately the party led in the region by the well-known Tambovites politician Maxim Kosenkov, got a stunning result.
In addition to the Tambov story, which destroys the long-standing tradition of unconditional victories of the United Russia party in elections, Alexander Fedulov spoke about some of the nuances in counting votes in the by-election of a State Duma deputy.
