The police are conducting a check after messages about the threat of bombings in schools began to be published on one of the social networks. This became known on Monday, February 8.

According to TASS, citing a source, in Moscow, a man turned to law enforcement officers with information that information about mining was being spread on social networks.

Earlier in the morning, schools in Siberia and the Far East began to massively evacuate students from schools due to the threat of explosions. So, on Monday, classes were interrupted in schools in Krasnoyarsk, Primorsky Territory, Sakhalin Region, Chukotka, Blagoveshchensk.

To date, the educational process in 149 Sakhalin schools has been restored. After inspections, the information about mining was not confirmed.

“It was important to exclude possible threats to schoolchildren, to check the alarming information received. Fortunately, it has not been confirmed and schools are returning to normal work. Already today, classes of the second shift will be held in those institutions where they are provided. Tomorrow, the educational process will continue, – quotes the press service of the Sakhalin region of the Minister of Education of the region Anastasia Kitaeva.

The reports about the mining of schools were not confirmed in other regions.

The administration of Blagoveshchensk (Amur region) also announced the cancellation of the first shift. After inspections, the information about mining was not confirmed. In 10 schools, lessons began on schedule, as they were checked before the start of the educational process, and in 11 other schools, the start of classes was postponed.
