The date of the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly has not yet been set. This was announced on Wednesday, February 24, by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

“No, until the date is set, as soon as it happens, we will inform you accordingly,” he said during a press conference.

Peskov in February has already denied reports that the appeal of the head of state Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly will take place within a week after February 24.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, during the message, Putin will talk about the tasks for the development of the country, and will also touch upon the topic of the upcoming autumn elections to the State Duma.

State Duma deputies told Izvestia that they expect to hear about a possible solution to the issue of indexing the pensions of working pensioners in the president’s message to the Federal Assembly.

At the end of January, Peskov reported that the date and subject of the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly had not yet been determined. The spokesman added that the format of the message has also not yet been discussed, everything will depend on the situation with coronavirus infection.
