The authorities of the Sakhalin Region intend to introduce cashback for students when flying around the Far East. This was announced on Wednesday, September 2, by the regional governor Valeriy Limarenko.
“Yesterday at the forum (the OstroV youth forum, which takes place in the region from August 30 to September 4 – Ed.), The issue was discussed of using cashback to make a project in which students could fly along the Far East routes for little money. We agreed with this project and said that we would participate in it. Why are we interested in this? Young people will fly to Sakhalin, the likelihood will increase that in the future they will cooperate already as engineers, as scientists, “- quotes the words of the Governor of TASS.
Limarenko noted that if the flow of young specialists to the islands grows, then jobs will be found for everyone. He also stressed that at the moment there is a colossal shortage of qualified personnel in the region.
On August 30, it was reported that Aeroflot airline resumed the sale of subsidized tickets for flights between Moscow and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. You can fly at a subsidized rate of 7.3 thousand rubles one way only until the end of September. The resumption of subsidized traffic from the European part of Russia to other cities of the Far East – Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan and Yakutsk – was not reported.
