In the city of Volkhov in the Leningrad Region, officials congratulated the male part of the administration on Defender of the Fatherland Day and presented a dance of girls in bikini with feathers.
A video of the festive concert appeared on social networks, after which a lot of criticism fell upon the city administration. Most users were upset that the event was held against the background of state symbols.
The head of the Volkhov district administration, Aleksey Britsun, said that the performance was “good”, but the place, according to him, was chosen incorrectly. He noted that a creative group from St. Petersburg performed at the concert, and the female half of the administration raised funds for it from personal income. Britsun assured that they had a preventive conversation with the officials.
