New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has promised a glass of beer to every adult in the state who will take part in the coronavirus vaccination in May.
“We’re launching our vaccine and beer program to encourage eligible New Jersey residents over the age of 21 to get vaccinated,” the governor said on Twitter, adding to his list of breweries.
Any New Jersey resident who receives the first dose of the vaccine in May and provides a certificate of vaccination to a participating brewery will receive free beer, he said.
However, not all Twitter users have expressed support for this decision. In particular, some under the publication expressed regret in connection with the authorities’ intentions to “bribe” residents with alcohol or their unwillingness to continue to visit these breweries.
