First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Moscow Mayor Alexei Nemeryuk said that a mandatory check-in system using QR codes may be introduced in the capital when visiting beauty salons and non-food stores.

According to him, this system will first of all be launched when visiting night entertainment establishments, and if it turns out to be effective, then its action will be extended to other service establishments.

“If the registration system … proves its effectiveness, similar measures can be applied in beauty salons and non-food stores,” Nemeryuk said.

My interview with Alexey Nemeryuk about the introduction of the check-in system, which will start working in Moscow tomorrow at 12.00. Today I found out – our colleagues have already downloaded 1000 QR codes. I really hope that this procedure will work, show its effectiveness, help reduce the growth rate of cases and, as a result, help avoid the closure of public catering establishments. There is a chance, now it all depends on how we implement it. It is clear that many more questions will arise. Write them in the comments. Both I and colleagues from the department are collecting them, we will look for answers. Either I’ll sip it live this week, or I’ll meet Alexei again in a week. All health! He hugged everyone. Remotely.
