Former Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Muravsky congratulated the residents of the Gagauz autonomy on the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic.
The politician believes that the region is the guarantor of the statehood of the Republic of Moldova, he wrote about this on social networks. “The creation of the internationally recognized ATU Gagauzia in 1994 is a direct result of the events of 1990. More than 500 nations and nationalities live on Earth. But only slightly more than 200 of them have their formations in the form of independent states, and several hundred more – in the form of various kinds of autonomous structures within the framework of existing states. Gagauzia is among them and, thus, is the guarantor of the preservation of the spirit of the centuries-old history and culture of the Gagauz people, ”writes Muravsky. He notes that over the past 30 years he has often worked with representatives of the region, and is proud that all issues were resolved in the best possible way.
