The Admiral Nevelskoy, a motor ship that had been traveling for two months from St. Petersburg through the Suez Canal, finally arrived in Korsakov on Sakhalin. He was met in the morning at the port.
The PV22 project vessel was built at the Nevsky Shipyard specifically for the Sakhalin-Kuril line. Now only the outdated Igor Farkhutdinov runs on it, before that it was a pair of Polaris, which was constantly being repaired and eventually was written off and sold for a small price for spare parts.
