Deputy Mayor of Moscow Pyotr Biryukov said on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel that there is no shortage of labor in the city to remove snow after heavy snowfalls.

“Today we have enough forces to clean up the city’s territory,” Biryukov said, adding that the Moscow authorities did not involve paramilitary units and turn to someone for help.

He cited data that now 116 thousand employees of the municipal services complex, including 80 thousand janitors, are involved in eliminating the consequences of snowfall in Moscow. Also, according to Biryukov, 15 thousand units of snow removal equipment were taken out into the streets.
