More than 40% of Ukrainians declared Zelensky’s lack of independence

More than 3 thousand Ukrainians, living in all regions, with the exception of the Donbass territories not controlled by Kiev, took part in the poll, which took place from January 15 to 25.

42.2% of the respondents believe that the Ukrainian leader is completely dependent in decisions on other countries or international organizations, completely independent – 7.2%, dependent on something, not on something – 43%.

More than half of the respondents (57.5%) assess this influence as harmful, 2.2% – useful, equally useful and harmful – 34.4%, found it difficult to answer – 5.9%.

The fact that the Ukrainian authorities are completely dependent on the influence of other countries and international organizations in economic policy was stated by 41% of Ukrainians, independent – 7.7%, in some way dependent, in some not – 45.4%, found it difficult to answer – 5.9%.

At the end of January, a poll by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology showed that Zelensky’s rating dropped below 20%. According to the research, at that time 13.4% of respondents were ready to vote for the current president of Ukraine.
