The authorities of the Moscow region in 2021 intend to carry out the improvement of more than 30 parks of culture and recreation. This was announced on Monday, March 22, by the press service of the regional Ministry of Public Improvement.

In total, it is planned to improve 31 parks, five of which are forest parks. Works are planned in Dolgoprudny, Balashikha, Istra, Serpukhov, Domodedovo, Khimki, as well as in other urban districts of the Moscow region.

Currently, there are 170 culture and recreation parks in the region. Their number has increased sevenfold since 2014, writes RIAMO.

As the Minister of Improvement of the Moscow Region Mikhail Khaikin noted, it is important not only to improve the park, but also to equip services there, so that the townspeople would be interested and would like to return there.

During the work, an emphasis is placed on functional diversity. Each guest should find something to their liking, said the TV channel “360”.

The minister noted that there is a standard set that should be in every park. This is a place for cultural events, children’s and sports grounds, an entrance group, which is the face of the park. At the same time, each park is unique in its own way and has its own style, and the authorities are trying to emphasize this, the official concluded.

For each park, depending on the needs, they will determine their own list of works. For a comfortable rest of local residents, they will equip road and path networks, equip children’s playgrounds, stages, dance floors, and also install lighting.

Earlier that day, it was reported that forests would be improved in the Moscow region. According to Governor Andrei Vorobyov, the region should be ready for the seasonal influx of tourists. He noted that communication with residents is of great importance for the authorities – it is important to know what exactly people want to change and improve.
