Former US First Lady Michelle Obama believes that American leader Donald Trump is the wrong president for the country because he brings chaos and discord. A recording of her speech was shown on August 17 during the Democratic convention.
“Let me be as honest and clear as possible. Donald Trump is not the right president for our country. He has had more than enough time to prove that he can do the job, but he is clearly not doing it. He’s just not who he should be for us, ”the Axios website quotes her as saying.
Obama noted that the incumbent leader has created “chaos, division and a complete lack of empathy.” She warned people against Trump becoming president for the second time and pitted him against Democrat Joe Biden.
“I know Joe. He is a deeply decent man, guided by faith. He was an amazing vice president. He knows what it takes to save the economy, stop the pandemic and lead our country. And he listens. He will speak the truth and trust science, ”the former first lady is quoted by MarketWatch.
On the eve, Trump came up with a common nickname for ex-US President Barack Obama and Biden – Obiden. “I like this term, it saves a lot of time,” said the American leader.
Biden is considered Trump’s main rival in the upcoming November 3 presidential election. Trump regularly makes fun of him and calls him Sleepy Joe.
