At a meeting in Minsk with Russian Ambassador Dmitry Mezentsev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he expects to put an end to the implementation of agreements between the two countries’ prime ministers at the upcoming meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The Belarusian leader noted that during the recent talks between the two government delegations in Minsk, “very good agreements” were reached.

“We are working on their development. Of course, in the near future we will meet with the President of Russia and, probably, we will put an end to the implementation of these relations and agreements in order to move on. Of course, there will be many more questions, they will always be. When there is cooperation, a lot of questions appear, they, of course, need to be resolved, ”the BelTa news agency quoted Lukashenka as saying on September 10.

During the meeting with Mezentsev, the President of Belarus said that Minsk and Moscow had made significant progress in solving the accumulated problems and tasks lately. He expressed hope that this dynamic will continue.

According to the Telegram channel “Pool of the First”, Lukashenko will arrive in the Russian capital on September 14. The Kremlin said it was too early to talk about it.
