On the eve of April 29, the head of the Soviet district Boris Senkov met with students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics. The parties discussed the future improvement of the area, writes IA “OMSKREGION”.
Senkov noted that the work will take place in two stages from January 2022 to December 2023. The architects have already prepared two design projects. Omsk residents should choose the final version by May 30 by voting on the “Gosuslugi” portal or on the 55.gorodsreda.ru portal. People who have reached the age of 14 will be able to vote.
Dean of the faculty Tatyana Stuken expressed hope that there will be open-air lecture places and comfortable benches with Wi-Fi on the square, so that students can spend time between couples, communicate and work out.
They intend to improve the area within the framework of the national project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”.
On April 7, the governor of the Omsk region, Alexander Burkov, in a conversation with the head of the department of regional programs of the Expert Institute for Social Research (EISI), Daria Kislitsina, spoke about projects for the improvement of the region. According to him, annually the regional government implements about 50 projects for the improvement of territories.
The head of the region also shared plans for a project to build a large embankment in Omsk, which will take up to 15 km.
