Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have completed the procedure for withdrawing their military units from the border, the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan informs.

As specified, the parties have completed the withdrawal of additional forces and assets from the state border line deep into their territories.

According to the information of the border department, the work of a joint commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the republics, continues to inspect the territory on which military units and military equipment were previously located. The situation in the border area and adjacent territories is currently “stable”, over the past night “incidents and skirmishes were not recorded.”
