Kyrgyzstan and Russia agreed to build schools

The head of the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Beishenaliev and the Minister of Education of Russia Sergei Kravtsov on March 15, during a meeting in Bishkek, signed a protocol on the creation of a joint educational infrastructure in the territory of the Central Asian republic.

The Kyrgyz ministry informed that on the basis of the protocol the ministers approved a joint plan of priority actions. In particular, a standard project for the construction of several schools with Russian as the language of instruction in Kyrgyzstan has been approved. Earlier, the president of the republic, Sadyr Japarov, agreed on this with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

At the same time, volunteers from Russia will work in schools. Bishkek will take care of the move, wages, utility bills, health insurance, and so on. In addition, the Kyrgyz authorities are proposing that Russia consider a project to undergo internships for Kyrgyz teachers in Russian schools.
