Kotovsk schoolchildren held an action “Clean Coast” (12+). They were engaged in landscaping yesterday, April 15, as part of a single cleaning day.
Volunteers in ninth grades from a secondary school put things in order on the coastline in the north of the city. Seventh-graders of school №3 with in-depth study of individual subjects freed the beach “Goat Meadow” from garbage. As a result of cleaning, the children collected a lot of different waste.
– Collected a lot of alcohol bottles. But the most annoying thing is that there is more garbage. Last time we cleaned this beach in the fall, and there was much less of it. I would like to appeal to everyone with a request not to leave garbage and not to destroy nature with waste that it cannot recycle, – shared seventh-graders Victoria Yushina and Milena Khodyakova.
On the same day, in the Oktyabrsky public garden, the city administration employees and representatives of the City Economy collected the fallen leaves, cut down the dead branches on the trees. Land for flower beds was brought to the park.
In Kotovsk, a single cleaning day is held every Thursday.
