Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said that all US sanctions against Russia were ineffective. He wrote about this on Facebook.
According to him, Moscow’s response to the new package of restrictions from the United States shows that the American authorities have failed to achieve their goals.
“Today’s prompt, extremely specific and tough response from Russia to the next package of US sanctions comprehensively confirms that the Americans have not been hit even once,” Kosachev said.
He also added that Russia “does not need to explain anything to the Americans,” and that the Russian authorities are 100 percent confident that they are right.
