A delegation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in St. Petersburg has arrived in Karelia to search for common interests and projects for joint implementation, the press service of the head of Karelia reports.
The parties see a lot of directions for the development of interaction: this is the forestry and mining industry, and mechanical engineering and equipment production, agriculture and fisheries, the spheres of science, innovation and tourism. These issues were discussed at the meeting by the Head of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov and the Consul General of Korea in St. Petersburg, Mr. Kwon Dong Soka.
“I am sure that by the end of 2021, the positive dynamics will continue to grow. I am convinced that your visit will serve as an impetus for expanding and strengthening cooperation, and in general will contribute to the development of relations between our countries, ”Parfenchikov stressed.
In the capital of Karelia, the delegation of the Consulate General has already got acquainted with the work of the EFER Fire Robotics Engineering Center, and then will visit the Onega shipbuilding and ship repair plant and the Kalevala dock.
