From 24 to 26 September Sochi will host the annual Sochi Jazz Festival. He will be the eleventh in a row. The project is directed by the famous musician Igor Butman, the press service of the Sochi administration reports.
This year the concerts are organized outdoors. Guests and residents of Sochi will be able to listen to jazz on Navaginskaya Street and on Flag Square, but the main evening performances will take place in the Festivalny Concert Hall. The mayor’s office of the resort city has already created an organizing committee to prepare for the international festival.
– The Federal Rospotrebnadzor gave permission to hold the Sochi Jazz Festival. The festival will be held taking into account all the requirements of epidemiological safety. We are confident that despite the necessary restrictive measures, residents and guests of the resort will receive positive emotions, and the jazz festival will become an important cultural event of the velvet season, ”said Vice Mayor Polina Denyak.
It is known that popular Russian musicians will attend the festival. Thus, Larisa Dolina and Valery Syutkin, singer Fantine and Sergei Mazayev will perform at Festivalnoye.
