The feeling of old age in young people indicates insufficient physical activity. This was announced on May 2 by Professor Hiroshi Hiraizumi in an interview with the Japanese edition of Nihon Keizai.
The physician noted that at present, unexpected body pains in people can occur due to the remote mode of work.
“The functions of the body are deactivated, so a person begins to age at a young age,” the professor’s journalists quote.
Hiraizumi advised to deal with such sensations by stretching regularly by the stairs. For example, to warm up the neck and shoulder joint, leaning to the railing with a straight back will be useful, and the iliopsoas muscles can be relaxed through lunges with the leg fixed a couple of steps higher.
“As a preventive measure, I recommend getting into the habit of stretching before starting any activity. The muscles become flexible, their blood circulation improves, the metabolism of muscles and organs is activated, which helps to prevent aging. Of course, if stretching is supplemented with light muscle training, the effect will be even better, ”added the professor.
Earlier on April 27, British systems biologist and longevity expert Andrew Steele listed seven simple habits that can help slow the aging process. This includes sleeping well, getting regular physical activity, avoiding dietary supplements and fancy diets, eating lots of vegetables, controlling your heart rate and blood pressure, and keeping your teeth healthy.
According to the expert, even ten minutes of daily regular walks is enough to get a positive effect. Steele noted that when training, the main thing is not to overdo it, since excessive exercise can reduce life expectancy.
