A man involved in a terrorist attack in Nice in July 2016 was arrested in southern Italy. Writes about this edition Corriere della Sera.
Italian police detained in the vicinity of the city of Caserta a 28-year-old Albanian named Andri Elezi, who supplied Mohammad Lahuaej-Buhlel with weapons.
It is noted that the arrest was carried out on a European warrant issued by the French authorities.
Recall that on July 14, 2016, a native of Tunisia, who had a French residence permit, Lahuaej-Buhlel, driving a heavy truck, drove into the crowd on the embankment of Nice. As a result of the terrorist attack, 87 people were killed.
