Tehran | Iran on Friday reiterated its call for the United States to lift all sanctions imposed by former President Donald Trump, after an offer of talks from the administration of new President Joe Biden.

Tehran will “immediately roll back” its retaliatory measures if the United States “unconditionally lift all sanctions imposed, reimposed or renamed by Trump,” Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted. He stressed that Iran agreed with the Biden administration’s decision to reverse its predecessor’s largely discredited claim that the UN had imposed new sanctions related to Tehran’s nuclear program.
