Short-term rain, thunderstorms and up to 29 degrees of heat were promised to Muscovites on Wednesday, the temperature will be 4-5 degrees higher than the norm, reports Elena Volosyuk, leading specialist of the Phobos weather center.
She claims that today Moscow will remain in the warm sector of the Atlantic cyclone, in connection with which there will be transient thunderstorms in places. According to the forecaster, under such conditions, the capital will be cloudy with clearings, light rain in places, possibly a thunderstorm. Thermometer columns in the city will rise to plus 27-29 degrees, in the Moscow region – up to plus 25-30.
A gusty southwest wind of 4-9 meters per second will be observed in the capital. The atmospheric pressure is expected to drop to 744 millimeters of mercury.
