Today, August 21, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov arrived in Kostroma on a working trip. The first thing he visited was the Kostroma Automotive Component Plant, for the modernization of which, back in 2012, through the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the company was allocated two soft loans for 500 million rubles. And in 2018, the enterprise received another 53 million rubles from the federal budget, since President Vladimir Putin listened to the request of Governor Sergei Sitnikov regarding the need to modernize the plant and its production facilities.
Today Denis Manturov was able to make sure that the allocated money did not go to waste: more than 400 new jobs appeared at the plant, the production of a full cycle of parts for the cylinder-piston group was launched, the product line for automobile engines was expanded. Accordingly, tax revenues to the local budget also increased.
Now the Kostroma plant of auto components produces spare parts for domestic engines VAZ, ZMZ, UMP, ZIL, VMTZ, MMZ, KAMAZ, SMD, YaMZ, AMZ, ChTZ, as well as Mercedes engines.
In the future – supplies for the production of Renault, Nissan, Ford, Volkswagen, etc. engines localized in the Russian Federation.
“The Kostroma Automotive Component Plant has serious potential for development. In particular, it is ready to meet the needs of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the details of the cylinder-piston group. Orders from the state will be able to ensure the stability of production, ”Governor of the Kostroma Region Sergei Sitnikov told the Moscow guest.
