Athletes included in the UAF base received a lifelong ban on sports activities.
For playing in the national teams of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, by the decision of the Ukrainian Football Association, 26 players were disqualified. This is stated in the message of the press service of the UAF.
The initiative to prohibit athletes from any activity related to football in one way or another came from the Security Service of Ukraine and the Committee on Ethics and Fair Play of the UAF. The organization’s official statement states that the actions of these players harm the reputation of Ukrainian football and the UAF.
The ban can be challenged within 10 days.
Recall that in Donetsk, the mini-football championship among the ministries of the DPR is approaching the final.
