A message appeared on the website of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the United States that residents are allowed to be on the street without a mask.
The measure applies to all US residents, regardless of the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine. Without a mask, you can now walk, including accompanied by family members, ride a bike, and jog.
You can avoid wearing a mask at meetings of small groups of people on the street, provided that everyone else is vaccinated.
However, at public events on the street, a mask must be worn. Also, the mandatory wearing of a mask is retained for indoor use.
Now more than 42.5% of the state population have received at least one dose of vaccination, and 29.9% (95.8 million people) are fully vaccinated.
