From 6 to 12 August in the Tver region will be held the action “Attention – children!”, Timed to coincide with a large-scale regional campaign to prevent child injuries.
The action takes place as part of the campaign to prevent child injuries, which started on August 1 at the initiative of Governor Igor Rudeni.
– It is necessary to intensify the work on the prevention of child injuries. This topic is especially important for us: it is a question of demography, preserving the lives of our citizens. The work should lead in three main directions. The first is the prevention of road injuries, the second is of accidents on the water, and the third is of domestic injuries, – said the Governor of the Tver Region at a meeting on July 30, where the start of the campaign was discussed.
Throughout the week, employees of the regional traffic police will stop drivers and conduct preventive conversations with them. The law enforcement officers will be assisted by volunteers who will distribute leaflets with important information.
